Founded by a current Division 1 tennis player and a USPTA certified teaching professional, Andrew Marcus has put together quite the tennis resume. A two-time Maryland state Doubles Champion from Winston Churchill High School, is now the current #1 singles and #1 doubles player at the University of Connecticut. Last season as a Junior, Andrew compiled an 8-5 record at the respective #1 singles spot and looks forward to his final spring season with the Huskies. Since age 11 he was ranked among the top 20 in the Mid-Atlantic section of the USTA. In high school, he captured the County, Regional, and State championships. Each year at Churchill, Andrew received academic honors as a scholar athlete on both the tennis and golf teams. While on Churchill’s prestigious golf team he helped the Bulldogs capture three State Championships. He has continued his academic success in college and was honored as a “Big East Academic Tennis All-Star” During his freshman season at Uconn, Andrew was voted the 10th best athlete by his University Newspaper “Daily Campus“. Carlos Bracho

Carlos Bracho enters his third year as an assistant coach for the Mason tennis team. Bracho is originally from Maracaibo, Venezuela where he was a former top 10 junior in singles and doubles.Carlos comes to Mason from the Van Der Meer Tennis Academy in Hilton Head Island, where he served three years as a tennis professional working with top ranked juniors. In addition, he worked as a hitting partner in WTA tournaments for players, Ai Sugiyama and Aniko Kapros.Bracho attended Mars Hill College in North Carolina where he graduated in 2004 with a B.S.in Computer Science with minors in Business Administration and Webmaster. He was named First Team All-Conference Player for three years, and three times MVP for Mars Hill College.Carlos is currently working on a master’s degree in telecommunications at George Mason, and at the same time assistant coaching the men’s tennis team. |
| Michael Gee has had a very distinguished tennis career. Trained in Ft. Lauderdale, Michael has been one of the top ranked junior tennis players in the nation since the age of 12. He has been ranked as high as # 10 in the country in every age group. After playing for Clemson University for a year, he then transferred to Howard University. He now plays #1 singles for the team, was voted 1st Team All MEAC Conference, and was a two time MEAC Player of the Week. Michael has also taught for many programs at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York. He has a vast knowledge of the game and an great passion for teaching and coaching. | |

Ivonne Ambrozkiewicz

Raised in Australia, Ivonne begun her tennis career at the age of seven by joining Christine Dorey’s Tennis Academy in Fremantle, Western Australia. Over the next ten years she rose in the junior ranks playing competitively in leagues and major state tournaments until the age of seventeen. Following a knee injury she decided to retire from competitive tennis and began to focus on her studies. Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in sports science, Ivonne never lost her passion for the game and continued coaching part-time for Dalkeith Tennis Club in Western Australia for the next 6 years until she moved to the U.S. Her love of teaching spilled over into her studies and she obtained her Master’s Degree in organizational Psychology and now works professionally in D.C. as an accredited Human Resources Professional. She is responsible for organizational training and development within higher edcuation. Today, she enjoys playing mixed doubles, continues to coach, and has also taken up horse eventing in her spare time. Residing in Silver Spring, her focus is on teaching mature adults beginners and young adult beginners. Private, semi-private, small group lessons, and half hour blocks available. Mature age ladies welcome!

| Viktoria graduated from Lehigh University in 2009 after having played 4 years of Division 1 tennis singles and doubles with the Mountain Hawks. In college she has competed within the Patriot League beating players from teams such as Bucknell, Colgate, Lafayette, Holy Cross, and Army. Outside of the Patriot League, she has defeated players from University of Delaware, Fordham, Fairleigh Dickinson University, and Drexel. In high school, Viktoria played first singles all four years of high school and was a 3 time MVP and had the most wins in her high school history. She also received the Outstanding Athlete Award awarded to the best athlete in the senior class at Manalapan HS, NJ. She finished in the top 16 in the NJ State High School Championships and was a multiple time All-County, All-Shore first team selection. She was also ranked as high as #23 by USTA in Middle States (NY NJ PA DE WV) and won the NJ State Doubles Championships. In high school, Viktoria also excelled in track and set a high school record with her 4×400 team, winning the Indoor Track Country Championships. Viktoria moved from Moscow, Russia at the age of 9. She currently works full-time at Freddie Mac in McLean, VA and resides in Alexandria, VA. She has been teaching tennis for 6 years and specializes in coaching adults and young teens. | |

Clayton Branche

Clayton Branche is a rising junior at Johns Hopkins University with extensive experience playing and teaching tennis. In high school, he played #1 singles and #1 doubles for Langley High School, winning the Liberty District singles title in 2007. He reached a high of #11 in the USTA Mid-Atlantic Virginia rankings and was a top #35 player in the Mid-Atlantic sectional rankings. In 2007, Clayton won the B18s VA State Clay Court Championship. Clayton played varsity tennis his freshman year at Johns Hopkins University, and currently is the Co-president of Hopkins Club Tennis. Clayton has experience teaching private lessons to both children and adults. He has taught at local clubs including 4 Star Tennis Academy, Mclean Racquet & Health Club, and Tuckahoe Recreation Club. |

Maria Presley

A former Division I college tennis player in Alabama, Maria Presley has over 8 years of tennis teaching experience. Recently, Maria left the heat and humidity of her teaching position at Dekalb Tennis Center in Atlanta, GA, opting instead for the only somewhat milder District tennis weather. Previously, Maria served as a Pro at the Washington National Cathedral and was Head of Tennis at Camp Desoto Camp for girls. As a player, Maria’s junior tennis career was noteworthy, as she won five straight individual and team state championships and was consistently ranked in the top three in her state with regional and national rankings as well. She has experience teaching all ages and all levels, and her clients always come back for more. Maria specializes in serves, volleys, and returns, helping players develop an offensive game that is ready for tournament play. |
| Eric Taylor is an active college student athlete at Virginia Commonwealth University and life-long tennis player. He has played tennis since he was 5 and began teaching tennis in High School while attending Lake Braddock. He has years of teaching experience through private lessons, classes of up to 12 students and camps at all ages and skill levels while employed by the Fairfax County Park Authority. Eric was Ranked #1 and Undefeated in VCU Intramural Single Tennis in Fall 2009, is currently a member of the VCU Club Tennis team and continues to play tennis competitively. Eric’s tennis lessons can cater to tennis basics, specifics or all around tennis play. Eric keeps his tennis lessons fun and engaging. Eric receives positive feedback from clients because of their vast improvement while working with him. Off the court, Eric is studying Business Economics/Finance at VCU and was awarded the CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Scholarship. | |

Juan Carlos

Juan Carlos is a certified USTPR Professional who is currently teaches private, semi private, and group lessons for beginners, intermediate, and advanced juniors and adults. Juan has over 15 years of experience coaching juniors and adults. He is involved with the Northern Virginia Tennis League (NVTL) and adults pursuing USTA/MATA rankings. Juan Carlos enjoys working with clients on all aspects of their games – stroke production, footwork, court positioning, conditioning, match play and strategies. He is comfortable working with students of different levels of proficiency. Juan Carlos is a very enthusiastic instructor who makes it known that tennis as a sport for everyone |
| Roshan Potarazu is currently a member of the University of Maryland Men’s Division 1 Tennis Team. During his sophomore year of college he competed in the starting lineup for the Terrapins. Throughout high school Roshan played the #1 position for Wootton High School in Rockville, MD, and was a regional semifinalist twice. He was ranked among the top 100 juniors in the country and was a top 5 Mid-Atlantic player throughout junior career. Roshan enjoys playing basketball and is currently pursuing a degree in Business. | |

Brandon Hall |
Brandon Hall is a recent graduate of Dominion High School in Sterling, Va. He has been playing tennis for 12 years and played #1 singles and #1 doubles all four years in High School. During his Freshmen and Sophomore years at Dominion, Brandon put together two perfect undefeated doubles seasons. He was ranked among the top 20 with the USTA Virginia section. Br.andon will go on to play tennis at Lynchburg College where he will persue a major in Business. Brandon shows a true passion for playing and teaching the game of tennis. |

Kevin Sheives has seven years of teaching experience at clubs in Texas and in the Northern Virginia area. From beginners who have never picked up a racket to advanced juniors and adults who play competitively, Kevin has developed a variety of skill levels. He believes in creating an environment where tennis is fun. He clients consistently improve in areas they want to improve, and players have the opportunity to exercise and meet other players along the way. Kevin grew up with a racket in his hand, and played competitively in high school, college, and as an adult in Texas and DC. Kevin’s other passions include the DC craft beer scene, family, and world affairs. He lives and work in DC, so grab a lesson with Kevin at nearby NW, NE, or SE DC courts. |

| Doug Silverstein is a rising senior at Franklin and Marshall college in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He plays #1 singles and #1 doubles and is the captain of his team. During High School Doug played #6 singles and #1 doubles for the Bullis Bulldogs. He will graduate this spring with a degree in Government and French. He currently is interning for The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in their Government Relations Department. | |
| Matt am a rising senior at the University of Rochester, in Rochester, New York. He has been a three-year starter on the University of Rochester Men’s Team; last year, he played #3 singles and #2 doubles. Matt has been awarded the UAA Scholar-Athlete award for three consecutive years, in addition to being welcomed to the Provost Circle Scholars, a program through which the University of Rochester recognizes excellence in academics and athletics. He has played tennis since I was 7, and, as I have been coaching since I was 16, have a considerable amount of teaching experience. Matt enjoys invigorating students with a passion for the sport, and also seeing them improve and succeed with their goals. As a high school tennis player, Matt helped Walt Whitman High School earn the county title in 2008. That same year, he earned All-Gazette honors. Off the court, Matt hosts a weekly radio show on his campus station, and enjoys studying philosophy (which he hope to pursue in graduate school). | |

Zach Levinepstein |
Zach Levin-Epstein is an avid tennis player who captained the tennis team at Thomas Wootton High School. In junior competition, Zach was a team tennis champion and played competitively in tournaments throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. He has four years experience teaching tennis at Holton Arms summer camp and has worked with players of all levels. Outside of tennis, Zach was on the track, baseball, and lacrosse teams. Zach lives and works inRockvilleand looks forward to helping a variety of tennis players steadily improve on the court. |

Mike Kelly is am a former Division 1 Tennis player with over 20 years of playing and coaching experience. He had a Top 30 ranking in the Eastern Section and competed in national events such as U.S.T.A. Zone Championships. Mike went on to play at Niagara University (MAAC Conference) where he played the #1 position in singles and doubles throughout my career. He has have experience coaching nationally ranked juniors, adults, and tiny tots! |
